Loving his garden, master perfumer Alberto Morillas expresses here a delightful memory of late winter. The cold remains as the first rays of spring approach. The citrus trees, which have spent several months in the orangery, have finally found their way back into the garden, to reconnect with the outdoors. It's a ritual that heralds the arrival of fine weather, and the lively, zesty aroma that accompanies it.
In Vert Empire, citrus fruits can be perceived amidst the leaves thanks to the essences of mandarin and petitgrain. The morning freshness, underlined by paradisone and a hint of cardamom, blends with the scent of the earth and the intensity of the wood, with a hint of minerality. The combination of sandalwood and ambrox with angelica and sage provides a guiding line between the green of the foliage and the sweet bitterness of the citrus.
